The management of Canada Wide Window Cleaning Inc. is committed to the health and safety of its employees and for anyone else involved in our projects. Protection of employees from injury and/or occupational disease is a major ongoing objective. We are always continuing to improve when it comes to creating an accident free workplace. This is accomplished through our effective administration, education and enforcement of our safety policy and procedures.

Our philosophy is that the well-being of our company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce and the public. The Director and Officers of this corporation promise that every precaution reasonable in all circumstances will be taken to ensure safety for those involved. No job is to be regarded as so urgent that time cannot be taken to do it in a safe manner. The welfare of the individual is our greatest concern.

Supervisors are to be responsible for the health and safety of the workers that they oversee. Supervisors are to ensure all the machinery and equipment in use are in safe working conditions and in compliance with all relevant safety procedures. Our supervisors also hold valid CPR and First Aid training. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect themselves and others around them from any harm. Employees and subcontractors are expected to protect themselves and any fellow co-worker(s) by ensuring proper compliance with the IHSA or any other applicable regulation. It is expected by management that workers report/notify a supervisor if they believe an employee is not working in a safe manner.

We recognize that a safe work environment can only be established and sustained through a united effort. This will allow us to achieve our goal, “no one gets hurt” and make our company the place to work where employees share in corporate growth and success.

Everyone, from our President to our newest employees, has a shared responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. As a result, we hope to prevent as many incidents, accidents and injuries as possible.
